Rector Vladimir Trukhachev thanked the organisers and participants for the celebration of spring, joy and love. According to the Head of the University, the students of Timiryazev Academy once again showed that they were the best, and the university would support all endeavours to further develop their abilities.
Vladimir Trukhachev personally handed the main prize - Grand Prix of the festival awarded to the students of the Institute of Economics and Management in Agrubusiness. The three prize-winners included Institute of Amelioration, Water Management and Construction named after A.N. Kostyakov, Institute of Zootechnics and Biology and the College of Technology.

The Russian agriculture is confidently digitalising, and Timiryazevka strives to be at the forefront of this process. According to Rector Vladimir Trukhachev, one of the main areas of Timiryazev Academy's participation in the "Priority-2030" strategic academic leadership programme is the Digital Chairs strategic project. Thanks to it, students were able to master professional competences in working with advanced digital solutions that are available on the market and are in demand among employers.
The event was organised by Innopolis University with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Digital Economy national project and Sociocentre.

During the conversation with Chinese Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng, Rector Vladimir Trukhachev spoke about the university's activities, its main research projects, and qualitative infrastructural changes. The head of the university emphasized that Timiryazev Academy aims to develop partnership relations with educational and scientific institutions of the PRC and significantly increase the number of students from China.
Vladimir Trukhachev paid his regards to Zhang Hanhui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation. The head of the diplomatic mission called significant efforts of Timiryazev Academy to expand and strengthen with partners from China and expressed support for the Chinese vector in the international activities of the university.

The parties presented their competitive advantages, talked about recent achievements and development plans. The specialists discussed the possibilities of organizing and implementing joint programs. In particular, such educational areas as landscape architecture, zootechnics, food production are of mutual interest.

More than 4,800 applications participated in the competition. According to the results of the examination, the Foundation Board approved 515 projects for financing, implemented in 2024-2026. The amount of one grant of the Russian Science Foundation ranges from 4 to 7 million rubles per annum.

One of the areas of activity of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance is food and environmental security. As part of this activity, the Russian part of the association initiated a project to create the BRICS Organic Farming Association, which will support educational and research programs in the field of organic farming, improving food sustainability through intelligent, clean and efficient technologies.
Representatives of the alliance from South Africa and Zambia visited the PhosAgro Education Center and the Vasily Robertovich Williams Soil and Agronomy Museum. The guests spoke with admiration about the educational and research capabilities of the university, appreciated the uniqueness of the museum's collection, and left a note in the book of its honored guests.
On behalf of the Rector, Professor Vladimir Trukhachev, negotiations on cooperation with the delegation of the Women's Business Alliance were held by specialists of the Department of International Educational Programs. The parties expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in research and educational spheres.

The program of the forum this year was more practice-oriented: the organizers emphasized direct interaction between students and representatives of agrarian business. Of the four days of the forum, two days were devoted to field trips to enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
The participants learned about innovations in seed production, vegetable growing, food industry, and studied various aspects of veterinary medicine. In addition, future professionals in an interactive format learned about staffing opportunities for agro-industrial specialists in the labor market.
The educational forum ended with a solemn ceremony of awarding the winning teams, participants who distinguished themselves in individual scores and awarding certificates to the forum participants.

15 students and amateur horse riders who were trained under the guidance of the coaches of the equestrian sports complex G.V. Kharlamova, A.V. Demina, as well as the oldest coach of the equestrian arena V.Ya. Yesavkina competed.
As planned by the organizers all the participants performed in costumes, creating interesting images to the melodies they chose. The audience and judges were impressed by the performance of Veronika Dinova on the palomino stallion of the Tatar breed called Alan, which was presented to the university by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan- R.N. Minnikhanov.
Both the students and their four-legged partners received well-deserved awards. And now everyone is getting ready for new competitions. They will be held in the horse-riding arena in mid spring.

In her speech, O.N. Lut reminded that the head of state has set a task for the industry to increase the production of agro-industrial complex products by a quarter by 2030 compared to 2021, and exports - by one and a half times. To achieve these indicators, special attention should be paid to personnel training. Now about 6 million people work in the agro-industrial complex, and by 2030 at least 6.2 million people should be employed in the industry.
Currently, there are 57 agrarian universities in Russia, which are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Education and Science. They should have a unified policy, and training should be organized to solve one task - to ensure food security of the country, said Oksana Lut. At the same time, she stressed the need to prioritize agrarian education in sectoral universities - budget places should be formed and filled exclusively in specialized areas of training.
The delegation of the Timiryazev Academy headed by Rector Vladimir Trukhachev is actively participating in the business program of the forum. On the second day of the forum there will be round tables on the topics "Higher and Professional Education", "Career Guidance" and "Science", as well as a strategic session "Communications".

At the opening of the forum, Sergey Martirosovich Kharakhashyan, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, addressed the participants. "Such events as the Educational Forum, which will start today on the basis of Russian Timiryazev State Agrarian University, it is necessary and important to hold for our youth. The forum will allow young specialists to get acquainted with the leaders of the industry and get acquainted with modern trends in agricultural production. Therefore, I wish the participants a good time, good luck and new discoveries," he said.
At the forum, the Timiryazev Academy brought together motivated participants of the "I am a Professional" Olympiad interested in creating favorable conditions for growing, preserving, processing agricultural products and bringing them safely to the consumer.
The forum events are aimed at developing professional and personal qualities of students who are passionate about agriculture. Participants are expected to spend three days full of lectures, master classes, meetings with leading specialists in agronomy and veterinary and zootechnical sciences, excursions around the university, as well as meetings with employers.
