A second-year student of Timiryazev Academy developed a marketplace for agribusiness

In today's world, more and more attention is paid to the development of technologies that help to optimize processes in various industries. There is also such a necessity in agribusiness, which is why there is a growing interest in digital solutions. In this context, Almir Fazrakhmanov developed his project "Agrosales" to solve the global problems of agronomists.
"The main problem in agriculture is time. And our service will save this precious resource at every stage of procurement and realization of produce. We will also use the certification systems of FSIS "Zerno" and FSIS "Saturn", which will further secure the consumer," said Almir Fazrakhmanov.
The startup's goals are to optimize logistics, establish horizontal links between producers from different regions of the country, increase the percentage of transactions in e-com, create a convenient platform for all market participants and reduce the time to conclude a transaction. "Agrosales" will help agronomists literally at all stages: purchase and sale of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, final products and so on. Buyers in turn will be able to choose from a larger number of sellers and find the most favorable options.
Verification and certification of suppliers, protection of transactions through the escrow system, automation of processes and reduction of risks of errors in documents due to electronic document management will help to increase trust and security in transactions in the new agricultural marketplace. It is also planned to develop a rating system for sellers and buyers, which will be based on several factors such as timeliness of fulfillment of obligations and quality of service.
The introduction of neural networks (AI) into the application's logistics process will allow for data analysis, taking into account such factors as distance, road conditions, delivery time and load on transportation networks. The system will track the purchasing behavior and preferences of each user and then suggest relevant products and services to them. Adding social network functions will facilitate direct communication between agricultural producers and customers.
According to the author, the project should cover not only the entire agro-industrial business in Russia, but also the BRICS countries. The main clients of the marketplace will be producers and processors of agricultural produce. The system will be useful for both large retailers and small businesses and farms.
