The scientists of the Institute of Mechanical and Power Engineering Named after V.P. Goryachkin considered the production and repair of domestic agricultural machinery according to the quality criteria of 5M. Among the main factors that reduce the level of competitiveness of machines, the use of cheap materials, outdated machine tools and technologies, and the lack of competent engineering personnel are highlighted. At the same time, the key to success is proper control over the quality of production and repair.
