Scientists of the Department of Plant Protection of Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, together with colleagues from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, conducted a comprehensive study aimed at studying the genetic and phenotypic diversity of the population of Pseudomonas syringae bacteria in the Russian Federation. The data obtained make it possible to better understand the effects of bacteria on plants, as well as to develop effective strategies to combat bacterial diseases. The study opens up new prospects for the genetics of phytopathogenic bacteria and increasing the resistance of crops to bacterial diseases. The scientific publication has been indexed in the Scopus database.
