Students and academic staff solemnly celebrated the 79th anniversary of the Great Victory

According to a longstanding beautiful tradition, university veterans, academic staff and students gathered to celebrate Victory Day in the Historical Park. The participants observed a minute of silence in memory of those who fell during the battles for the Motherland and laid flowers at the monument stele "Grateful Timiryazevka to its Sons and Daughters". Rector, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir I. Trukhachev made a commemoration.
