At the invitation of Rossotrudnichestvo and on behalf of the Rector Vladimir Trukhachev, specialists of the Timiryazev Academy presented our institution at the site of the educational exhibition for applicants from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Timiryazev university was the only representing the agricultural sector at the event. The main organizer of the event was the representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Tehran. The participants made video presentations, informed the target audience about the infrastructure, study programs and the procedure of admission to their universities, including those under the quota of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The exhibition was conducted in Persian (Farsi).
Materials for the presentation of the RT SAU were prepared by the Department of International Educational Programs. The university was presented in Persian by Mohammadi Shima, a graduate student, a young scientist, PhD in Biology. The speaker also provided information for future candidates about the achievements of Timiryazev Academy, the profile areas of the Preparatory Department for foreign nationals, living conditions in the dormitory and features of admission. Finally, she thanked the administration and teachers of Timiryazev Academy for their warm attitude and responsiveness during her studies at the university.
The presentation speeches were broadcast live on social media on the information resources of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Tehran. The audience reach was more than 500,000 users.
In 2023 the Department of International Educational Programs has planned to participate in educational exhibitions in the Republic of India and on the platforms of other representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo in the world.
