Timiryazev Academy presented successful projects at the international conference Erasmus+
On behalf of the Rector, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor V. I. Trukhachev, the event was attended by Deputy Head of the Department of International Educational Programs A. Y. Voronina and Head of the Department of Ecology I. I. Vasenev. Both university representatives participated in the Digitalization of Higher Education session.In addition, A. Y. Voronina moderated the session “Sustainable development”.
Following the conference, the director of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Russia, O. N. Oleynikova, expressed gratitude to the university specialists for the presented reports.
Timiryazev Akademy is among the best Russian universities according to Forbes
Forbes analyzed the work of 502 Russian universities on several indicators. Among them are the quality of teaching and international activities, the share of young teachers, the share of foreign students and the availability of joint double degree programs with foreign universities, the ratio of the number of teachers and students.
Timiryazev Academy is the only agricultural university that is included in the top 100 best universities in Russia according to Forbes and ranks 83rd in it.
Interview with Nobel laureate Riccardo Valentini
Professor of the University of Tushia Riccardo Valentini returned to active cooperation with the Timiryazev Academy within the framework of the world-class Scientific Center "Agrotechnologies for the Future". Riccardo Valentini told how his long-term cooperation with the Timiryazev Academy began and noted the high level of education at the Timiryazev Academy.
Riccardo Valentini also noted the huge potential of Russia as a country with the largest area of land in the world suitable for the production of agricultural products. According to the scientist, Russia should become the largest exporter of products on the international market.

The university teacher became the champion of Russia in powerlifting
On June 19 and 20, the WPF 2021 Russian Powerlifting Championship was held in Moscow. Timiryazev Academy was represented at the competition by Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture Sergey Yuryevich Nikitchenko.
According to the results of the competition, Sergey Yuryevich fulfilled the standard for the title of "Master of Sports of Russia" and took first place in the nomination "Multi-repeat bench press".

The Institute of Economics and Management of the Agro-Industrial Complex expands cooperation with foreign universities
The Institute held an online meeting with representatives of the Czech University of Natural Sciences.
An important point of the meeting was the discussion of the opening of a new master's program of two diplomas "Information Technologies" in English.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue and update the content of the curriculum of this program.
The overall result of the meeting was the confirmation of the existence of common interests, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the field of joint research and academic mobility.
