Students and postgraduates of the Plant Protection Department are leaders of the "BayStadi" project
At the final event of the "BayStudy-2021" program from the "Bayer Crop Science" company, scientific works on agriculture were presented by 18 undergraduate and graduate students of universities and research institutes. In total, more than 200 applications from 35 universities in the country were submitted for the correspondence stage. Among the leaders of the project are students and postgraduates of the Plant Protection Department of the Agrobiotechnology Institute.
The scientific initiative "BayStudy" is a project designed to support talented students and graduate students who intend to grow and develop professionally in the field of plant protection, as well as those who wish to gain practical skills.
The victories of our students for the first time brought the Timiryazev Academy to the leaders of the university ranking of winners of the "BayStudy" project.
The winners of the competition received a monthly scholarship from the Bayer concern and were given the opportunity to undergo an internship at the BayArena platform - the Bayer agrotechnological competence platform, employment in the company and access to an English language course.
RT SAU and Genotek will develop genetic technologies together in the agro-industrial sector
RT SAU and the Genotek Medical Genetic Center signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of education and science. The agreement implies the creation of educational programs with the aim of developing higher and additional professional education in the field of applying modern genetic approaches in the agricultural enterprises activities.
The cooperation is designed to meet the employers' need for highly qualified personnel for the agricultural sector. Educational activities provided by the agreement will be held both for students and staff of the academy, and for already working representatives of the agricultural industry.

The University is among the winners of the "Priority 2030" program special part
Russian Timiryazev State Agrarian University became one of the universities receiving grants in the "Research Leadership" direction of the "Priority 2030" program.
The "Agricultural Breakthrough 2030" program proposed by the RT SAU rector - Prof. Vladimir Trukhachev, envisages strengthening the status of the Timiryazev Academy as the first agrarian research university, shaping the agenda for the entire system of agricultural science and education in the country. Project was also supported by the Minister of Agriculture of Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev.

"Agrotechnology for the future" was presented at the forum "Technoprom"
The eighth International Forum of Technological Development "Technoprom-2021" has ended in Novosibirsk. Alexey Skuratov, director of the "Agrotechnology for the future" scientific center, made a report within the framework of the event. He spoke about the activities of the Center and the first results of research work. The speaker paid special attention to educational programs developed within the framework of the consortium and ways to attract young scientific personnel to applied research.
The roundtable participants positively perceived the idea of replicating the experience of our center within the framework of a possible new competition in 2022.
