Student from the Humanities and Pedagogy Faculty was awarded the Medal of the President of the Russian Federation
Anastasia Kutuzova, a first-year master's student in the direction "Professional Education" of the Humanities and Pedagogical Faculty, actively participated in providing assistance to the vulnerable category of citizens aged 65 years and older during quarantine measures.
On the eve of the International Volunteer Day, the head of the Chuvash Republic, Oleg Nikolaev, met with the leaders of the Volunteer Center of the city of Cheboksary.
During the meeting, the head of Chuvashia awarded the volunteers with a commemorative medal from V. Putin "For disinterested contribution to the organization of the All-Russian action of mutual assistance "We are Together".

Dear friends and colleagues! We are happy to invite you to take part in the celebration of World Soil Day and the work of the International Youth Scientific Conference V Williams Readings - "Genetic and Agronomic Assessment of Soils", which will be held on December 7th, 2020 at the Department of Soil Science, Geology and Landscape Science of the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev.

Conference participation form: remote (Zoom Cloud Meetings). No more than 2 articles (including co-authorship) are accepted from one author. Participation in the conference is free. Based on the conference materials, a collection of articles will be published and posted in the RSCI.

RSAU-MTAA is the leader of the RAEX subject rating
The leaders of the rating in the field of "agriculture" were the Timiryazev Academy, Stavropol State Agrarian University and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The formation of the final lists was influenced by three factors - the level of applicants, scientific publications, as well as assessments of universities during reputation surveys.
It is worth noting that the Timiryazev Academy is included in the ratings of the 75 most influential universities in Russia and the hundred best universities in Russia according to RAEX.

On December 3rd Timiryazev Academy solemnly celebrates the 155th anniversary
A large-scale holiday in honor of the 155th anniversary of the country's main agricultural university will be held online. The main event starts at 15:00.
The ceremony will be opened by the rector of the university, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professor Vladimir Trukhachev. The head of the university will congratulate the scientific and teaching staff, employees, students and graduates of the university on a significant date.
Heads of executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation, partner companies, agricultural universities and scientific organizations of the country, long-term friends of the university prepared their video greetings in honor of Timiryazevka's anniversary.

Akron Class opened at the Department of Chemistry of the Timiryazev Academy
The project was implemented within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed a year ago between Akron Group and RSAU-MTAA. In frame of this agreement Akron Group will provide equipment for the future agronomists and will participate in the their training for the Russian agricultural industry. Vladimir Trukhachev, Rector of the Timiryazev Academy, expressed gratitude to the management of the partner company for the work done and emphasized that the research which will be conducted in new laboratory will be broadcasted to all 54 partner universities in Russia, as well as in the CIS countries.
