University rectors continued a series of contacts aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of bachelors, masters and higher qualifications training, as well as organizing joint scientific research, and also agreed to hold a meeting of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association (FUMO). It is expected that over 140 representatives of Russian universities will take part in the meeting in online and offline formats.
The prestigious competition was organized by the Moscow Department of Sports with the support of the Russian Fencing Federation. Athletes with a title not lower than "Master of Sports" were allowed to participate. The Timiryazev Academy was represented at the competition by Alexey Udovichenko - the 1st year student of the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology. The athlete showed himself worthily, taking second place in the team championship and becoming the third in the individual competition.
Currently, Alexei Udovichenko already has the title of "Master of Sports", he is a silver medalist at the European Championship, and is also a member of the Russian national fencing team.

Scientists from 47 universities, 28 research institutes, 6 agricultural holdings and companies take part in the All-Russian Scientific Conference. More than 160 reports of scientists from Russia, Germany, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, China will be presented.
During the work of the sections, the issues of crop production, agriculture, plant protection, meadow farming, medicinal and essential oil crops, selection and seed production of agricultural plants, technical means and the digital platform of the agro-industrial complex will be considered.
The rector of the Timiryazev Academy, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Vladimir Trukhachev addressed the organizers and participants with a greeting speech.
On the basis of the university, they took advanced training courses in the areas of "Introduction to molecular plant breeding", "Basic genetic concepts in molecular plant breeding" and "Fundamentals of cell technologies". Twenty plant breeders and biotechnologists have already mastered the two-week training program by the Timiryazev Academy and Skoltech.

The presented courses are the first in a series of training events planned in the framework of cooperation between the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and the Timiryazev Academy.
