In January, at the Timiryazev Academy, two student selections are held at once for studying at the leading universities in Hungary and Poland. For some students, the qualifying stages are over: they have already started collecting the necessary documents for studying in France. The Timiryazev Academy has been a member of the European Union academic mobility programs for over 20 years. They are currently being implemented under the ERASMUS+ program. Every year Timiryazevka applies for grants from the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Competitions for students are held every semester. Currently, our students are going through the selection stages for studying at the Hungarian University of St. Stephen and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
Students who successfully pass the competition receive a scholarship to study for a semester at universities in Europe. For two students, the competitive stage is over. Nikita Arumugam, a master's student at the Faculty of Animal Science and Biology, and Anna Bakrunova, a Master's student at the Faculty of Agronomy and Biotechnology, are already preparing to go to the French University of Lille - the Higher School of Agriculture.
Upon returning from abroad, students will present the results of their learning, share their experience with peers and teachers. They will use the acquired knowledge in writing scientific articles and preparing final qualifying works.
