Chairman of the Young Scientists Council of Timiryazev University Victor Malorodov has become a member of the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education of the Presidential Council on Science and Education.
According to the results of the meeting of the Presidium of the Presidential Council on Science and Education the composition of the Coordinating Council was updated. It consists of 66 representatives of the major councils of young scientists from state corporations, organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, organizations of military-industrial complex and the Russian Academy of Education. The Coordinating Council is called upon to implement the activities of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation.
In his address, Russian President Vladimir Putin said: "The main objectives of the Decade will be to attract talented young people to the scientific sphere, to involve researchers and developers in solving the most important tasks of the development of society and the country, to increase the availability of information about the achievements and prospects of domestic science for the citizens of Russia".
Coordination Council on youth affairs in scientific and educational spheres was formed by the decision of Presidium of Russian Federation President Council on science, education and technologies in February, 2007 and is an advisory body. The main purpose - to ensure the interaction of the Council for Science and Education with public youth associations and organizations in the consideration of issues related to the development of science and education.

From June 26 to July 7, 2023 RSAU-MTAA will organize the International Summer School 2023 for students studying agronomic and biological specialties.
The Summer School "Modern Plant Breeding Technologies" is a unique chance for students of Russian agrarian universities and CIS countries:

To participate in the selection process for LS-2023 a motivation letter written in Russian or English is required. Additional points can be earned by writing an essay on the situation in the plant breeding and seed industry.

At the invitation of Huamin International Investment Corporation, Timiryazev University employees took part in a large-scale exhibition of Chinese universities in Moscow. Its main objective is to increase the attractiveness of student exchanges between Russia and China and to develop and strengthen cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities.
Huamin Corporation was established with the support of the Governments of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China to stimulate the development of Sino-Russian relations.
