Timiryazev Academy trains students from China on robotic systems in the agricultural sector
Timiryazev Academy is hosting a professional development program entitled "Robotic Systems in Agriculture.
Training takes place within the framework of the activities of the world-class scientific center "Agrotechnologies for the Future".
The main trainees are master's students from China.
They study unmanned tractors and aircraft, robotic harvesters, construction equipment, and robotic lawnmowers.
A young scientist from Timiryazev University became a member of the Coordinating Council under the President of the Russian Federation
Chairman of the Young Scientists Council of Timiryazev University Victor Malorodov has become a member of the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education of the Presidential Council on Science and Education.
According to the results of the meeting of the Presidium of the Presidential Council on Science and Education the composition of the Coordinating Council was updated. It consists of 66 representatives of the major councils of young scientists from state corporations, organizations subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, organizations of military-industrial complex and the Russian Academy of Education. The Coordinating Council is called upon to implement the activities of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation.
In his address, Russian President Vladimir Putin said: "The main objectives of the Decade will be to attract talented young people to the scientific sphere, to involve researchers and developers in solving the most important tasks of the development of society and the country, to increase the availability of information about the achievements and prospects of domestic science for the citizens of Russia".
Coordination Council on youth affairs in scientific and educational spheres was formed by the decision of Presidium of Russian Federation President Council on science, education and technologies in February, 2007 and is an advisory body. The main purpose - to ensure the interaction of the Council for Science and Education with public youth associations and organizations in the consideration of issues related to the development of science and education.

University invites to the Summer School-2023 "Modern Plant Breeding Technologies"
From June 26 to July 7, 2023 RSAU-MTAA will organize the International Summer School 2023 for students studying agronomic and biological specialties.
The Summer School "Modern Plant Breeding Technologies" is a unique chance for students of Russian agrarian universities and CIS countries:
- to get an up-to-date idea of what is modern plant breeding and seed business;
- to get skills of work in biotechnological laboratories of the main agrarian higher education institution of the country and leading research centers, to master basic methods of cell technologies and molecular breeding;
- get acquainted with high-class specialists representing Russian and transnational seed companies and the world academic community;
- get inspiration for professional development in plant breeding and seed production.
The most motivated and goal-oriented students will learn from the experts about the most modern technologies used in plant breeding and acquire skills of work in a modern biotechnological laboratory.

Participation in the Summer School is free of charge for the participants, who pass the competitive selection. The number of places is limited. The organizers undertake to provide participants with meals, travel expenses to the place of the School, accommodation in the hotel of the RSAU-MTAA.
To participate in the selection process for LS-2023 a motivation letter written in Russian or English is required. Additional points can be earned by writing an essay on the situation in the plant breeding and seed industry.

At the international exhibition Timiryazevka and Chinese universities discussed the development of cooperation
At the invitation of Huamin International Investment Corporation, Timiryazev University employees took part in a large-scale exhibition of Chinese universities in Moscow. Its main objective is to increase the attractiveness of student exchanges between Russia and China and to develop and strengthen cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities.
Huamin Corporation was established with the support of the Governments of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China to stimulate the development of Sino-Russian relations.
The exhibition platform united the leading educational organizations of China - 34 universities. The representatives of Tsinghua University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Foreign Languages University, Donghua University, Shenzhen University, Peking University and many other higher educational institutions could be met at the exhibition stands. Major international companies presented interesting internships and job opportunities for students and graduates from Russia.
At the opening ceremony, Jiang Zhongliang, education adviser at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Russia, noted that the number of students studying in Russia and China will increase dramatically.
Timiryazev University staff held talks on cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and teachers, research collaboration, and also presented to the international audience a presentation and video about the benefits of studying at Timiryazev University.
Timiryazev Academy hosts the filming of the reality travel show "Obrnadzoro"
"Obrnadzoro" is a creative new format project on the central TV channel for young people and their parents, as well as for teachers, tutors and tutors. During the filming, the Rector of the Timiryazev University, professor Vladimir Trukhachev was interviewed by the project manager and presenter, Deputy Chairman of the State Council Boris Chernyshov.
In 10 episodes of the project, the presenters travel around Russia and introduce viewers to unique universities. One of the first visits by the Obranadzoro team was to the Timiryazev University. Warm meetings with guests and unexpected discoveries made the encounter unforgettable.
